Of pleasures and skills

Hannah: Dad, I think about stuff all the time. Often I want to do bad, but when I think about it, I change my mind and I do the right thing.
Me: When you do bad, do you do it because it's attractive? Does doing the bad make you feel good?
Hannah: No, that's not it. It's just that doing the right thing is soooo hard!

Later that day she is struggling to make it through "Don't wake up Mama".
Hannah: Dad, reading is soooo hard!
Me: Is it as hard as doing the right thing?
